Expense Manager

Well,

This is our first post on Andropanda. Its been long since we are using Android.
Android is great, so are the apps. We, Andropandas, keep on installing different Android apps on our phones and tablets.
We will try to put our take on different android apps on this blog.

Would also like to share some tips and tricks on Android phones.

We will start with our favourite app, Expense Manager.

What is Expense Manager?

This is a simple application to track your income and expense. It is your personal ledger.
If you follow this app religiously, put in your expenses and income without fail, there is nothing better to track your Account.

App size:
Varies by device, just under 1 MB on my device !

App Author:
BiShiNews

What you would like?
  1. Completely Free.
  2. Very good user interface.
  3. Fast, no crashes.
  4. Simple to use.
  5. Has simple links to calculator for Amount fields.
  6. Good charts. You can customize the chart by almost all the functions in the App.
  7. Password Protection.
  8. No nagging advertisements just one ad banner. Pro version just removes it..!
  9. Lots of tools like Currency Conversion, Calculators, Tip Calculator, Credit Card Payoff calculator.
  10. Auto fill facility in income and expense for recurring transactions.
  11. Supports multiple accounts.
  12. Has many customization features like date, display and currency formats.
  13. Option to "Sync to Dropbox".
Open this app and you are presented with simple but excellent dashboard.
Has simple buttons to add your income or expense. Dashboard has short summary of your account and on click (Yeah, yeah..touch), you are presented with the details.
Repeating transactions can also be added with a few touches.
Application supports daily, weekly, monthly and yearly views of your account.

I must say developers have done excellent job. I touched "Pro Edition" button, read what is written and it just added to my respect for these developers...!

Lots of Customizable Charts

Lots of Tools

Improvements?

It takes a bit of a time to fill in your expense/income at first before you get used to it.
I think user experience can further be improved by reducing redundant clicks and introducing things like auto suggest feature for text fields like payee, category etc.

I won't be surprised if I can talk to this app someday and just say... "Hey, I just spent 100 bucks on food.."

Final Verdict:
This is an excellent app to install due to small size, use and keep on your android phone.

Rating:
Definitely 9 out of 10.. !
